I love eyeshadow and it's arguably my favorite makeup product. So when I found out that this was a tag I should do, I totally wanted to do it. This tag was created by three YouTubers, War Paint with Tara, FancyThatwithCandice, and Julie Dawn Olsen. But enough chatter, let's get on with the tag!
Favorite Drugstore Line for Eyeshadows?
It's a tie between BH Cosmetics and Revolution Makeup. I am extremely loyal to both brands and have found products that I love from both of them. Though I admit, Revolution Makeup is a lot more consistent for me in terms of quality and I do own more palettes from that brand. But BH cosmetics always makes top-notch makeup brushes and has some really great palettes too.
Favorite Eyeshadow Primer?
Milani eyeshadow primer. This is what I consider a ride or die product. However, I am already beginning to like the Cut Crease Canvas from Revolution Makeup a bit more since I've started working with pressed pigments and more colorful eyeshadows.
First-Ever Eyeshadow Purchase & Do You Still Use It? High-End: Tarte Rainforest After Dark Palette
This was such a big deal for me when I first bought it because I was in college. It was recommended by one of my favorite YouTubers at the time, and I just felt so fulfilled when I first got it. My tastes have changed but yes, I still use this palette. But I don't use the eyeshadows anymore, just the blush.

Drugstore: I Heart Revolution Death by Chocolate Palette
This was the palette that started my chocolate palette obsession and love for Revolution Beauty and all its brands. It is a dupe for the Too Faced Chocolate Palette, and I did enjoy using it at the time. It's just too bad that I never really got into neutral palettes as I don't have it anymore, I have a collection of the chocolate palettes but I only buy the more colorful ones in the range.
Best Drugstore Eyeshadow Dupe?
Bad Habit Athena Palette
Admittedly, I was one of those people who initially fell into the trap that Huda Beauty was a cruelty-free brand. After deciding that I only considered brands as cruelty-free if they didn't sell mink lashes or animal hair brushes, I decided that Huda Beauty's claims of cruelty-free mink lashes were complete BS and got this dupe instead.

While I did like the quality of the Desert Dusk palette, I did find a few shades too dry and stiff, despite being pigmented. I find that the Bad Habit dupe is more consistent in quality and is just as good. Hands down, the best dupe I've ever had. While Bad Habit is no more, this palette is still being sold by resellers online.
Most underrated? (what you hear about the least, but LOVE-this includes singles/palettes)
Spoiled Lips Cosmetics Palettes
Ever heard of a brand that does eyeshadow palette subscription services? I haven't either - until I heard of Spoiled Lips Cosmetics. Wow, was I seriously missing out! I was blown away by the variety of eyeshadows that they had and I was surprised that people didn't know about this brand.

I was shocked. While I can't join the subscription services, I can have their stand-alone palettes, including their collab palette with Oh Abbi. I have used it quite a bit and found that it's hard to put it down to shop my stash because I really enjoy the formula and colors.
Favorite Single Eyeshadow?
I don't use singles anymore, unfortunately. I just found them stressful to store and use because they weren't packaged like a palette. However, I did enjoy the single shadows that I owned from ColourPop and Pinky Rose when I did have a collection of them.
Favorite Cream Eyeshadow?
Yeah, I don't use cream eyeshadow either. I think powders just last a LOT longer and give you more bang for your buck.
Favorite Neutral Eyeshadows?
I like colorful warm tones that are close to reds, oranges, and pinks. They're neutrals, right? Pictured here are the Profusion Siennas, MUR x Soph Extra Spice, I Heart Revolution Red Velvet Chocolate Palettes as examples of the neutral palettes I would go for.

Favorite Colored Eyeshadows?
As boring as that sounds, I love all the colors of the rainbow. However, I tend to gravitate towards colorful palettes that tend to have a lot of cooler tones. I like how the Ace Beaute Oceanic Palette, Blush Tribe Paulina Palette, and the Pinky Rose Exotic Peacock Palette look, for example:

Best Eyeshadow Palette Ever?
I would usually say the BPerfect Cosmetics x Stacey Marie MUA Carnival and the Emily Edit The Wants Palettes, but that does seem very repetitive at this point. If I never owned both and had to pick another one, I definitely think the palette that Beauty Creations did with Annette69 is one of them - I love the colors that she chose for this palette and I think the formula on this palette is really nice.

The shadows last and don't fade and the glitter doesn't separate on my oily lids. I'm bummed that Beauty Creations isn't transparent about what they use for their falsies because their non-dupe palettes actually look nice and they have a great formula. But even if I won't purchase from them for now, I like that I have this palette.
