You know, I love Revolution Makeup already. But I think they've outdone themselves with this collab. But before I completely fangirl over a makeup product, let's talk about why I like this palette so much. First of all, I really like this color story, I mean, look at it:

So this collab dropped in late 2019, and it was HUGE. There were eye and face palettes, and finding out that Patricia was a pretty big British YouTuber, I understood why this collection was big. I was very interested in the colorful palette, called the Rich in Colour Palette.
The Palette
It's in a metal casing, similar to the Forever Flawless Palettes but is much bigger than those, as you can see below:
It doesn't have a magnetic closure but I don't find that the closure is loose or uneven. The Rich in Colour palette also has 28 shades as opposed to the 24 that usually comes in the Forever Flawless palettes, and I admit this does look fancier than a usual Revolution Palette would look like. Oh, and this palette is vegan too so no animal-derived ingredients were used for the eyeshadows and pressed pigments. If you prefer vegan makeup, this is totally fine to use.
The Shadows
This palette has 6 metallic shades, 2 pressed glitters, and 20 matte shades. There is a good amount of cool and warm tones in this palette as Patricia meant for this palette to be your go-to colorful palette, so I appreciate the nice balance of bright, neon, and neutral hues. I find that there are a lot of similarities between this palette and the BPerfect Cosmetics Carnival palette (Stacey Marie collab), except this is a more affordable alternative. I wouldn't call this a dupe, but I still think this is a really nice mix of colors. Anyway, here are the swatches by row on bare, dry skin.
1st Row

Some of these shades are pressed pigments so they're more vibrant and a little harder to work with than a regular eyeshadow will be. As you can see, some of the shadows don't swatch that well either (I swear I did my best). In my experience, pressed pigments don't always swatch well but I find that this is not an indication of their performance on the eyes.
2nd Row

As mentioned previously, there are pressed glitters (Waow and Flames) on this palette. Some of them are fine while some a chunky. As with any pressed glitter, make sure to put on glue first before you put them on. This keeps them on your eyelids and prevents them from getting into your eyes and irritating them.
3rd Row

The rest of the metallic shades aren't pressed glitters so you don't need an adhesive for them. These metallics have by far the best quality and formula that I've seen from the Revolution Makeup brand, especially for the collab product. They are soft and easy to use, and none of them get hardpan (some of the firmer pressed pigments do though). Honey Pot and No Exit are more of a cream and have a foiled finish so they go on nicely on the eyes (and I hit pan on both these shades already).
4th Row

I would like to point out that Patricia Bright has beautiful dark skin, so these colors are most definitely pigmented. And since some of these are pressed pigments, they will stain your skin. I don't really think that's a problem but if you have sensitive skin or just don't like makeup that leaves stains, I don't recommend this product for you.
My Final Thoughts
Well, it's safe to say that The Wants Palette by Emily Noel has been dethroned as my favorite collab. This is now my favorite collab and I totally recommend this palette for people who love colorful and versatile eyeshadow palettes. I am so happy with the quality of these shadows and I really did feel inspired to create different looks using the shadows. They were a joy to use and didn't give me any problems. Frankly, this might even be my new ride-or-die drugstore palette.
If you're looking for a larger and more colorful palette from the drugstore, I totally recommend that you get this one. You won't need many other rainbow palettes when you have this one. If the quality of these eyeshadows tell me something, it means that things will continue getting better for the Revolution Makeup brand. And frankly, I'm here to see it.
