Happy Valentine's Day, my lovely readers! I delayed this week's blog post because I wanted this feature to go out specifically today. After all, when we think of Valentine's month looks, we often think of white, red, and pink and a lot of heart shapes.
No matter what your relationship status may be, there's no reason why you can't wear a lovely red or pink eyeshadow look for Valentine's Day or for the rest of February. So I decided to talk about a few palettes in my collection and why I think they are perfect for this whole lovey-dovey theme we're going with!
Red Velvet Chocolate Palette
It smells like chocolate and has all the romantic red and pink shades that will remind you of everything about love. You have a few oranges and browns to work with but this palette is definitely for people who love red and pink eyeshadows and sweets.
Smink PH Smarkle in My Eyes Palette
Hooray for local brands stepping it up! If your idea of a valentine's look is more grungey or has a lot of deep and rich autumnal shades, this palette would definitely work for you. It has a lot of rich browns and sultry berry tones so you can have sexy smokey eyes all month long!
Beauty Creations Annette69 Palette
While I still find Beauty Creations shady, I already have this palette and I honestly love it. If your idea of a romantic look includes glitter, then this is it. While this is definitely more of a rainbow palette, you still get a wide array of pinks and reds but you also have some nice iridescent glitters in heart-shaped pans to go on your eyes. It's got nice variety.
