I Heart Revolution basically outdid themselves by a lot when they released this palette. It was the most beautiful of their chocolate palette range and the color scheme inside was in vogue at the time. Additionally, this palette smells really good. A lot of reviews say that it smells like Kinder Bueno chocolate. I personally like to smell it for fun.

Of course, this was obviously a dupe of the Huda Beauty Rose Gold palette, which at the time of this palette's release, was a limited edition product that was no longer available. It has since been reformulated and has returned earlier this year, but this palette quickly became a lot of people's favorite chocolate palette in its absence.

Encased in sturdy plastic, this palette features 16 mostly warm-toned shades in matte, shimmery, and pressed glitter finishes (8 matte, 8 metallic). It does come with a double-ended sponge tip applicator, which I actually think isn't useless because you can use it to apply the glitter shades to your lid.
I would also like to point out that even with all those reds and pinks, this palette is a vegan and cruelty-free product. It does not contain Carmine or other animal-derived ingredient. This palette is also gluten-free, so you can use it even if you have a gluten allergy.
Speaking of shades, here are the swatches:
Matte Shades

The mattes are the usual formula that you expect for I Heart Revolution's chocolate palettes. They are smooth, have good color pay-off, and can be built up. I think that's a good thing if you want to try these colors out but worry about overdoing it. They are not too in-your-face pigmented that they're hard to work with.
Shimmer Shades

However, I think the real standouts of this palette are the metallic shades, which is honestly came as a huge surprise to me. I Heart Revolution's shimmer formula is usually quite stiff and requires some effort to get out of the pan and onto your lids. They are not my favorite metallic formula to work with, and I do normally go for the chocolate palettes with more matte shades (Orange, Violet, etc.) because I like their matte formula a whole lot more.
But this palette is one exception to that rule. The shimmer shades are soft and have that wet sort of feel to them. They go on to the lids easily and have a beautiful foiled finish. As for the pressed glitter shades, they are quite crumbly in texture (especially "Hard work" and "Luxe") so I suggest that you use glitter glue with them. They don't really end up falling on your face while you wear them throughout the day either.
If you have an issue with metallic shades sealing over or getting hardpan, this palette won't really give you that. I consider this a huge improvement for the brand.
My Final Thoughts
Of all the chocolate palettes that I own and have used, this is the best one out of all of them. The mattes blend out nicely without losing their pigmentation and the metallic shades are the best that I've personally seen from I Heart Revolution. They also have good longevity.

I've had this palette for quite a while now and have used it numerous times, I can honestly say that the hype for this palette is well-deserved. I was delightfully surprised by how beautiful the packaging is and how great the overall quality of the shadows are. It's become the one palette I end up comparing every chocolate palette I have to, and it has raised the bar pretty high.
The only bad thing I really have to say about this palette is that it is very warm-toned, so I wouldn't say it's a palette for everyone. Though if you adore reds and pinks, love the smell of chocolate, or just want to know if this palette is worth it, I wholeheartedly recommend it.
